Psychedelic/Progressive Rock Band from Vienna.

Founded in 2018 in Vienna, Hypnotic Floor quickly gained a following in the Austrian underground with their blend of progressive rock, folk and psychedelia. Their 2020 debut album „Foggy Bog Eyes“ is built on a foundation of sprawling jams soaked in reverb and delay, relying heavily on improvisation. Their second album „Odd Conjectures“ (2021) delivers a more focused approach and a garage inspired sound, spawning one of the band’s signature songs, „Beinwärts“, which was featured on Fuzz Club’s „The Reverb Conspiracy Vol. 7“ compilation.
Their latest album „The Friendly Moss Forest Creatures Lives Happily In Perpetual Twilight“ (2025) sees the band delving deeply into folk and progressive rock, exploring polymetric rhythms and intricate melodies while maintaining the psychedelic sound and raw energy of their previous work.

Opium Masala, die Lieblingsband des Dalai Lama, ballert dich in Sphären, in denen noch nie zuvor ein irdisches Wesen vorgedrungen war. Aus dem bizarren Gemenge, strukturierten Lärms, tiefen Gitarrensounds und Schlagzeugrhythmen zwischen doomigen Laid-Back und trashigen D Beat entsteht ein Masala, das mit Vorsicht zu genießen ist. Einmal konsumiert wird es dir schwerfallen auch nur einen Tag, ohne Opium Masala auszukommen.
